  • Vote now in Eureka Prizes People's Choice Award
    The Australian Museum Eureka Prizes People's Choice Award gives science teachers a new way of presenting real-life science and science careers to their students. The winner is decided by popular vote. It�s a bit like Australian Idol or Next Top Model except it�s free, voters choose between real-life working scientists, and students are likely to learn something along the way.

  • Teaching Australia Master Classes
    Teaching Australia will be hosting Master Classes in 2008, presented by winners of the 2008 National Awards for Quality Schooling.

  • International Science Poetry Competition
    International Science Poetry competition is for students aged between 9-15+ years. Submit a poem by 25 June to win a trophy or an award.

  • CONASTA 56/ICASE World Conference
    CONASTA is the annual conference of the Australian Science Teachers Association. In 2007 CONASTA 56 was hosted by the Science Teachers Association of Western Australia and the International Council of Associations for Science Education. The conference addressed serious global issues that teachers and other educators used as springboards for action within their own countries and regions. There was also a focus on concerns of interest to all educators who work in policy, curriculum, classroom practice, research and external agency support.
