You will be able to access the resource book from the ASTA and Science Week websites from late May/early June 2012.
In May 2012, ASTA will post to every Australian school an A3 Energy Evolution poster. On the rear of the poster will be information about events and activities happening during National Science Week in your state and territory
The artwork for the poster will also be available for download and printing from the Science Week website.
2011 National Science Week resource book 'React to Chemistry'
The Australian Science Teachers Association has chosen to celebrate the IYC 2011 with the publication of 'React to Chemistry', its annual resource book for National Science Week.
Activity and Event Ideas for National Science Week
There are many and varied ways that you, your school and your local community can be involved in National Science Week. Here is just a small sample of the many hundreds of activities (that we know about!) that have taken place in Australian schools for
National Science Week. They are ‘real-life’ examples and all have been a raging success!
You could also plan your activities around the 2012 schools theme ‘Energy Evolution’ by looking at the many experiments and
activities in the digital resource book of the same name (available in May 2012).
