Follow the activities of National Science Teachers Summer School

The 2014 National Science Teachers Summer School kicked off on Monday 13 January with a bit of light Quantum Physics to get things moving. Oh sure, there was some meeting and greeting, some good food, and some engaging discussing, but let's be honest - all that pales beside playing with lasers!

The six-day program is intensive, full of early starts, late finishes and meals on the go. Sessions with prominent scientists and educators bump ends with visits to practical laboratories and facilities such as CSIROS's Black Mountain Laboratory, the Australian National Insect Collection, Tidbinbilla Deep Space Tracking Station, Mt Stromlo Observatory, Geoscience Australia and Questacon.
